In the heart of the Dordogne valley, this confidential, modern 15-suite hotel offers the elegance of the 1930s in architecture designed by FMAU. It pays homage to travel in a landscape classified by Unesco as a World Biosphere Reserve.
The 3300 m² park offers unique atmospheres that combine the landscapes of the Lot and Dordogne rivers. From the high square that welcomes guests, through the terraced vegetable garden, the grove, the lower courtyard and the belvedere overlooking the medieval town of Souillac, the stroll is punctuated by colors, scents and the gentle sound of birds nesting in this protective setting.
In the middle of the park, a 15-metre-long emerald-green mosaic swimming pool is hidden from view in a green room with terracotta floors.
The hotel and park are laid out along a large interior street, oriented East-West, to catch the sun from morning to night, and radiate light at every moment of the day.
The bar pays homage to the hushed ambience of bars where jazzmen and international audiences rub shoulders. The restaurant showcases the infinite wealth of local gastronomic resources: truffles, porcini mushrooms, walnuts, apples, strawberries, saffron, lamb, foie gras, beef, cheeses in a fresh, elegant and generous cuisine.
Whether in summer or winter, lounging by the pool, at the bar enjoying a unique cocktail, or in a suite at tea time, everything invites you to relax.
